Acting as your in-home virtual host, airguide™ is there, day and night, to answer any questions or queries your guests may have.

Is airguide™ an App or a website?

The airguide™ digital guidebook is a web application (web app) so it has the power and speed of a native mobile app, but is accessible via a web URL and there is no need for guests to download anything to their phone. Currently an internet connection (either mobile data or WiFi) is required to view the airguide™ digital guidebook.

Is airguide™ affiliated with Airbnb?

No airguide™ is not in any way affiliated with Airbnb or any other OTA or booking platform.

Happier guests. Our easy-to-use web app provides all the information your guests need, day or night, ensuring a stress free and relaxing stay. You have the option to send the guidebook to your guest before they arrive, allowing them to plan more efficiently. They can also easily take it out with them on their smartphone when exploring the area, making the most of the built in local area map.

An airguide™ digital guidebook offers a number of benefits over and above those of a marketing website.

Guests can access all the information they need in one place, with a short, memorable URL e.g. https://air.guide/seaside-escape - local recommendations, info about household items, contact info, plus things like check-in instructions, door codes, wifi codes etc (things you probably wouldn’t want to share on your public marketing website). So it offers a high level of convenience for guests, meaning they don’t have to dig through physical manuals or ask questions about basic information, reducing their stress levels while they’re enjoying a relaxing stay.

You can highlight your property’s key features, and if you wish, you can populate a significant depth of information on how household items such as coffee machines, ovens etc work (the kind of thing you might include in a physical manual, which you might not want visible on your marketing website). You can add images, video walkthroughs and even pdf manuals to help guests as much as possible.

Local area recommendations are incredibly simple to add (just a couple of clicks) and appear on an interactive map, so guests can read about places, whilst getting an understanding of their location and easily opening directions in Google maps.

Furthermore, an airguide™ digital guidebook is mobile optimised, and built in the latest web technology, so it’s super quick and easy for guests to view on their mobile phone whilst they’re inside the property or out and about exploring the local area.

From a property management perspective, we’ve designed the airguide™ online dashboard so that it’s simple to add and edit information at any time - no need for a web developer or agency.

How do I set up my airguide™ digital guidebook?

To set up your airguide™ digital guidebook you need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Click on the 'Try for free' button in the menu.
  2. Enter your details to create an account.
  3. Click on Edit for each of the sections you would like to include in your guidebook and add any associated text, imagery, videos or pdf documents (you can add as much or as little information as you like).
  4. Your Live Guest Link will work straight away and once you’re happy with your app you can share it with your guests. This link is private and secure and only accessible by you until you choose to share it.

How long does it take to set-up my airguide™ digital guidebook?

It only takes a few minutes to set up your account and enter your basic information. The rest depends on how much information you would like to include within your guidebook. With our simple set-up design, however, information can be entered very quickly and viewed instantly on your personal Live Guest Link.

I don’t have much online experience, will I still be able to set up the airguide™ digital guidebook?

Of course. airguide™ has been designed carefully so the setup is simple and suitable for all levels of ability. We are also only a phone call or email away if you do require any further assistance.

How do I make changes to my airguide™ digital guidebook?

To make changes to your guidebook you simply login into your account, select Edit on the section you wish to change and make your amends. You then click Save and your guidebook will instantly update.

How much does an airguide™ digital guidebook cost?

We have one simple pricing plan, which is flexible depending on how many properties you add:

  • For 1 property, you pay a monthly subscription of £5.99 per month.
  • For 2-10 properties, you pay a monthly subscription of £3.99 per month, per property.
  • For 11-40 properties, you pay a monthly subscription of £2.99 per month, per property.
  • For 1 property, you pay a monthly subscription of USD $7.99 per month.
  • For 2-10 properties, you pay a monthly subscription of USD $4.99 per month, per property.
  • For 11-40 properties, you pay a monthly subscription of USD $3.99 per month, per property.
  • For 1 property, you pay a monthly subscription of AUD $11.99 per month.
  • For 2-10 properties, you pay a monthly subscription of AUD $7.99 per month, per property.
  • For 11-40 properties, you pay a monthly subscription of AUD $5.99 per month, per property.

There are no set-up costs, no minimum term contract and no hidden fees.

When will my credit or debit card be charged?

Your credit or debit card will be charged the day after your free trial ends, and then each month thereafter on the same date.

How can I cancel my airguide™ subscription?

If you wish to cancel your airguide™ subscription, please contact us and we will be able to process this for you. There is no notice period, however your subscription will run until the end of your monthly billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately we are unable to process refunds at the moment. If you choose to cancel your subscription, it will remain active until the end of your monthly billing period, at which point it will be terminated and you will no longer be charged.

How does airguide™ protect my privacy and keep my information secure?

We take privacy and security extremely seriously. Our priority is to provide strong security and give you confidence that your information is safe and secure.

We encrypt all traffic to and from the airguide™ Digital Guidebook App and the airguide™ Online Dashboard over HTTPS (the padlock on your address bar), which uses the SSL/TLS protocol so that attackers can't steal data and you can be sure that data is being transferred to and from servers that are genuinely ours.

Your personal information is stored on secure servers hosted on AWS West Region, which has multiple layers of operational and physical security to ensure the integrity and safety of your data.

airguide™ uses an external service to process credit cards (Stripe) and so your payment details are never stored on our servers. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. This can only be accomplished with best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.

When you login to your account on the airguide™ Online Dashboard your username and password are sent to our servers over encrypted HTTPS, if you're credentials are successful then a unique, time-limited token is returned from our server, which enables you to connect to a hidden, encrypted API (Application Programming Interface) endpoint, which provides access to your account and personal information. This API endpoint is never exposed to the airguide™ Digital Guidebook App, so there is no possibility that guests could ever access your account or personal information via the airguide™ Digital Guidebook App.

When guests use the airguide™ Digital Guidebook App, the App automatically initialises a connection to a hidden, encrypted API (Application Programming Interface) endpoint, which provides access only to information that’s relevant to the specific property. This ensures that your personal or sensitive data is never exposed to your guests.

The airguide™ Online Dashboard gives you complete control of your data. You can edit and delete any of your data at any time, and you can activate or deactivate your guidebooks with a single click. You can also choose to restrict access to your guidebooks by setting a passcode. This means that only those guests who have the latest passcode will be able to view your airguide™ Digital Guidebook App.
